It isn't as easy to find them like it was 10 years ago. I passed up several over the years for a bit over that. Bought these yesterday as well as two cokes not pictured for 3. Other Mountain Dew items include coolers, Game Fuel items, soda crates, various Mountain Dew cans from throughout the years, and several other collectible items. Everything is old to me if it came from before I was born, I'm only 23. The labels are perfect and the bottles are as well. They look nice on my dresser for now though. They are the more common style of the standing pig.
Doug Hey-I think all of your Mt Dew are worth some, due to being in good condition. Even the new style is probably over 20 years old already. Quench your desire to own memoribila depicting your favorite soda. They will increase in value. The one in the middle is slightly different from those and the two on the left are identical as well. The bottle in the middle has the 'laughing pig', which makes it worth a little more than the other two bottles with pigs. If you are a huge Mountain Dew fan, get a kick out of the selection of Mountain Dew items on eBay.
That clear Barney and Alley is one of the rarest Mountain Dew bottles in existence! I didnt think the bottles were that old since I believe Mountain Dew started in the 40's. The real scarce Mountain Dew bottles would be two from Tri City Beverage Co of Johnson City Tenn. That is mostly what I collect. I have an 8 ounce version of the more common Hillbilly bottle and a few of the newer design. I managed to buy a normal green version of the Barney and Alley of which only forty or so are known to exist. Reliable sellers offer a large variety of these items, including several Mountain Dew shirts.
Maybe in another 50 years or so they will be a rare a desirable bottle. . The two on the right are identical as far as the labels are concerned. I like to see how they evolve and change the graphics. Then that makes them even more collectible. If anyone wants a different view of the labels let me know? What kind of Coke bottles did you get? It's amazing that the seller found it at an antique flea market. .
